On the 1st of June all of 5k have been studying and presenting all the different types of energy this is what they were:
Dana C and Chloe P.S where talking about Wind Energy they explained that a wind turbine is a machine made up of 3 rotors.Wind turbineare 30 meters high so that the rotor gets more wind power.What ever you don't not the wind rotor stores in powerlines until you need it again.
Jacqui P and Laura D spoke about Electrical Energy they said that after electricity is released from powerlines it has to go into themain circut.Electricity heats up the water and turns the turbines.
Furqon and Michael spoke about Radiant Energy.They said Radiant Energy is used in your heating and cooling. Radiant Energy is in the electronic waves and it was invented in 1882 and the inventor is Nicola Tesla.
Lily M and Bec N talked about Sound Energy.They said that Sound is a vibration so you get the sound through your ear.Some examples are:Get your ruler out and twang it on the end of the table, listen to the sound of that.When a sound goesless than a second it is called a Frequency. When you tap on a drum it pruduces a lot of vibration.
And last but not least Emily S and Chloe I'S speech about Chemical Energy. We said that Chemical Energy is actually in food that we eat, well technically any way, you see food is Potential Energy but when you bite into the it releases Chemical Energy.Chemical Energy is also in a battery, it's like all the energy is stored inside but when you plug it into a wall it releases all the energy.
